Disney Springs, Orlando

(4.1/5 based on 7,000+ reviews on the web)
A sprawling shopping, dining, and entertainment area, Disney Springs is an outdoor complex offering free entry and complimentary parking. Separated into three themed sections, the complex includes a large marketplace area, housing the world's biggest Disney store and a Ghirardelli chocolate shop that displays antique chocolate-making equipment. Use the marketplace as the hub of your exploration and download a map to your mobile device to find noteworthy attractions in the other sections, such as an old-fashioned dine-in movie theater or a modern 30-lane bowling alley. End your visit with a ride on a tethered balloon, which provides 360-degree views of the entire resort from a height of 120 m (400 ft). Put Disney Springs into our Orlando holiday planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • Even though I still refer to this place as Downtown Disney, this place has been completely revamped! A portion of it has been turned into an upscale outdoor mall. I have to confess, I miss the good ol...  more »
  • It had been a few years when I was Downtown Disney, and in 2016 returned to visit it sucked a pleasant surprise. New stores were opened as Uniqlo, expanded parking, and the aesthetics of the place was changed. I recommend visiting it, and obviously enter the Disney Store more large U.S., which is the World of Disney.

  • It's huge. Stores, restaurants, movies, bowling, more stores, more restaurants - just an incredible outdoor mall. If you need anything Disney-related, you will find it here. Kids don't seem to have a ...  more »

  • Love this place. Especially after the refurbishment. The live music everywhere is great. Just come over to the stage by the Boathouse, get a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy the live music. La Calle band is really good. Plenty of stores to visit that range from average price to the high end designer ones. There is something for everyone here.
  • Love what they've done with the place. Parking is so easy now, parking garage even tells you how many spots are open in the garage, in a lane, And which one is open! Very easy to navigate on foot and tons of new shops!! Very very Disney hospitality at every turn. Plan a full day, you'll need it with so much to see, buy, and eat! Plus they have a gluten free baked goods store now to!
  • Disney Springs, formally Downtown Disney, is a great improvement to the old location. Many of the old favorites have remained, but new stores and restaurants have been added. The best part in my opinion, is the addition of new (and smart!) parking garages. For those who remember, the old parking was only a surface lot which made for a good walk until you could get to anything. These new garages actually tell you how many spots are available, what floor, and even where they are. Most of the park is new construction and is similar to the high-end retail outlets seen along I-4. There are all types of stores: from typical clothing outlets, to smaller local companies and even the LEGO Store, there's something for everyone no matter their age. One of their newer restaurants, The Boathouse, features the ability to ride a restored amphibian car from dry land directly into the adjoining lake. If you're in the area, I'd recommend stopping by. Granted, it is no theme park, but if you're looking to do something different, hang out with friends, or just shop around, this is for you. Plus parking is free!
  • There's so much to do here. Parking is free but it's packed in the evenings, so I'd recommend going earlier in the day. It's laid out in a linear fashion so you'll walk a lot. Can't wait to go back because we didn't get to see it all this trip.
  • Disney Springs is a gem. With the new upgrades (formerly Downtown Disney) it is absolutely the place to be on the weekends. There are new restaurants, no less than 3/4 live bands/musicians all around the location and lots of fun things to do. Whether you are going for a House of Blues concert or just to walk around, this place is awesome. It's extremely family friendly and there is something for everyone. Check out the lego store, get yourself a Ghirardelli brownie sundae, and just enjoy the entertainment. Fin.
