Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 13,000+ reviews on the web
Swim with bottlenose dolphins at Discovery Cove, a theme park that provides a more relaxing experience than the nearby mammoth entertainment complexes. You can interact with exotic birds in the free-flight aviary or explore the tranquil world of private beaches and heated outdoor pools. The park also contains a coral reef, where you can use the provided equipment to snorkel with thousands of tropical fish. To see the park's highlights quickly, take a boat ride down a tropical river running through the aviary and past sandy beaches, waterfalls, and rainforests. The park only admits a limited number of guests each day, so make your reservations well in advance. • Discovery Cove was one of our favourite days of the holiday. Yes, it's pricey, but factor in your inclusive entrance to SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Aquatica as well as free parking and it starts to lo...  read more »

  • I had the worst experience attempting to make reservations. I can only expect amazing customer service since the prices are high. Gail was extremely rude while I was asking "detail questions". At one point she said "OMG" meting me know I was taking too long. I told her that I heard her, and requested to speak with a supervisor. I advised her that I had recorded this conversation and she proceed to hang up on me. I made another attempt to speak to a supervisor, took another 35 minutes on the phone. A rep (nice rep this time) advised me that she will place me on hold to get a "supervisor" on the line. After a 40 minutes ca I proceeded to end the call, and never got to speak to a "supervisor". Very disappointed!
  • I love this place. Even though it rained in the morning and it was cloudy the rest of the day. We still enjoyed ourselves. The reef water is pretty cold, but that's the temperature they need for the fish and sharks. The food was great as always, staff is friendly and wonderful. We've been here three times already and I will always come back. I've never had a complaint.
  • I fell in love with this place.. my fiance' and I have the same birthday so we planned our whole day there from the time they opened till the time closed. It was amazing, I enjoyed the SeaVenture (underwater tour while wearing helmets) and swimming with the dolphin, but my favorite was swimming in the coral reefs with all the fishes and stingrays. It was so beautiful, i didn't want to leave :) I highly recommend Discovery Cove to anyone and everyone. You will definitely have a wonderful time here. I'm planning my next trip here for my Labor Day weekend!
  • We had such an amazing day here for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was all inclusive, so nice not to worry about food or drink for a day (although my vegetarian 13yo struggled a little to choose food at lunch, hence 4 stars, even the salad had chicken in it). Swimming with the dolphins was naturally the highlight, and the trainers were brilliant at sharing information and talking us through everything. Swimming with rays and fish, and seeing the Sharks at such close quarters was also awesome.
  • This is a great park for spending a day with family. First of all you get an all inclusive day (food, drinks, snorkel, wetsuits, sunscreen are included among other things). On top of that you can use your pass to go to Sea World and Aquatica water park. We had a great time relaxing in the river, then swimming in the grand reef where you swim next to stingrays and all kinds of fishes (even sharks) on a very safe environment. All the food options where delicious and plentiful.
