  • The back nine has reopened at Bay Hill. It's in great shape, although the back nine greens aren't rolling the same as the front nine yet. My wife and son are still learning golf, but we had no trouble...  more »

  • hearing of his death today made me realize I never left a review. It was an amazing resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were soooo comfortable and quiet. The icing on the cake was when Arnold got up from his table to talk to my 3 year old. What a great experience.
  • It was pretty nice, it was a wonderful default area, the people there were great as well very friendly. It was a fantastic experience. The location wasn't too far either.
  • I have read some of the posts on here and some people refer to it as a "resort", it is not! It's a lodge! I have stayed and played here many times and it is one of the MOST comfortable places I have ever stayed at. Just to be clear, I have traveled all over the world! In addition to the wonderfully down to earth feel at home comfortable accommodations it is extremely inexpensive. Love it! Keep it like it is Arnie!
  • Bay Hill Lodge is not for stuffed shirts and persons with their noses in the air. This is a place for people like Arnold Palmer himself. A person grounded in integrity and honor and kindness. We even met him while there and he didn't offer us a brief smile and a scribbled autograph, he sat and talked with us like old friends. What a gentleman he is and this carries through with the staff at the Lodge. Kind, thoughtful and sincere about their goal of making your stay the warmest and best possible. Funny thing is, I'm not a golfer but i was with a group of businessmen who were and they couldn't say enough about the course. They cant wait to return..........and neither can I. Thank you for making my stay so memorable! Charles Grey, Florida Commercial Brokers Network, F.I.GREY & SON, Inc. Commercial Realtors Since 1924
  • I stayed at many golf resorts and Bay Hill is by far my favorite. All of the people complaining about the "resort" ? No where on the website does it say resort. The lodge is small but perfect for a golf trip. The staff is amazingly friendly and courteous. I have stayed there 5 -6 times in the past 2 years and never been disappointed. If you get lucky you may even get to meet Mr. Palmer.
