  • This is a great place to visit in Orange, Va. You can learn about the Presidents that Lived in Virginia, the Civil War and Montpelier.  more »
  • A good place to start before Montpellier visit. A small, low tech museum that was nice. Nice collection of artifacts and good historical timeline of James Madison.  more »

  • Lots of great artifacts and local as well as national history! Orange county treasure!
  • A must stop in Orange County, much history in one place.
  • I am afraid that many people will miss this regional museum and they should not. It is about 12,000 feet of space with a variety of exhibits including ones on Madison. The staff person for our visit was enormously helpful. We saw this at the end of the day after we had been to Montpelier - and while that was great - so was this. It is well worth a stop!
