  • This park gets really busy but I would still recommend it for families. They have a zoo, several playgrounds, pony rides, and more!  more »

  • I love this park! Very large and there's something for all ages. We have taken advantage of the fishing pond, train, zoo, pony rides and picnic areas and plan to do more in the future. Very fun filled day for a reasonable price.
  • I've been going to Irvine Park since I was a child. There is much to do here, and they keep adding more. Maybe they have added too much? The last time I visited there was no place to park. This is a huge park, and people were driving all around trying to find parking. This didn't stop them from letting more and more cars in. It wasn't even a holiday, just a typical weekend day. As I drove around looking for a place to park I could see many places that they could easily add additional parking.
  • A huge local park that has a little bit of something for everyone. When I was leaving mid day on a Saturday through the main section of the park there was easily over a thousand people just in the central fields. Even with so many people though it still seemed so spaced out and private due to the massive size of the place.
  • The kids always like the train ride here. We've been through the zoo too. It's super cheap but you can go through it in about 15 minutes. You have to pay to get into the park but parking anywhere beyond that is free. We've been to the Easter event, Halloween pumpkin patch, and just for fun. The hayride kids like but it's nothing too different than the train ride. It's a good thing to mix things up with when they are running it in the fall. You have to buy tickets for practically everything (train, hayride, bounce houses, cookie decorating, pony rides...). Luckily it's free to take pictures at all the wooden cutouts, to go through the corn maze, or participate in the egg hunt. Pumpkins are very high priced, just to be warned. Schools do go to the events too so just do the activities that they aren't doing and then swap so it's not as busy.
  • Fun outdoor activities for the whole family. We enjoyed riding the train, the small zoo, and the ponies, as well as walking on the trails and playing on the playground. There's a lot more to do, too. It was not busy during the week. We tried on the weekend and it was too busy to get in so a week day is better if you can manage it!
