  • Nice lake to take the family and/or go fishing, camping..playground for the kids and nice restrooms close to the boat landing..decent size parking lots also.
  • Just enjoyed an awesome July 4th fireworks show there. I've been a few times before and the park is clean and plenty of shade. Nothing amazing but a nice place to just jump in the car and go. They have plenty of nature walkways, a boat dock, grills etc.
  • Always love going here, during the weekday it is not so busy. It is like having the park almost to yourself. There are a couple of small trails to walk on and places to swim. Fishing as well as taking a boat out. Several spots for camping with an RV to primitive sites as well. There is WIFI at the camping sites, but it does not work that well.
  • Very nice, outta the way campground. The spots have full hookups, gravel, and level. Most everything has a water view and the staff are extremely accommodating and nice. Plenty of shade under the Magnolias. Opp and Andalusia have a nice old South feel. Will definitely be back.
  • I thoroughly enjoy camping at Frank Jackson State Park. The camping sites are always nice and well maintained along with the bathrooms and other amenities. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. The boat ramp is first class. It's our favorite place to camp! The only thing I can think of that would make it better is horseshoe pits. Thanks Frank Jackson Staff for being first rate. Y'all know how to make us feel at home!
