93,000 square foot building houses a museum, residential apartments, overnight lodging, Kenwood and Vine restaurant, and banquet and meeting space.

The property encompasses 200 acres including historic gardens and grounds, the Oneida Community Cemetery, and the country's first corporate golf course. Century old trees include a Black Walnut and a Tulip which are New York State champions.

Guided tours Wed. - Sat. 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Sun. 2 p.m. Self-guided tours may be taken during business hours. On-Cell mobile phone tours are available for permanent and changing exhibitions and several period rooms.

  • Visited The Mansion to learn more about my family heritage, being a direct descendant of Ransom Reed. The staff wws friendly, had so much information and it was lovely to stay for a night in the mansion house.

  • Beautiful place! Fun place to stay with all the history. Have attended a wedding and several other functions (plays on the lawn,holiday readings) ,presentation always very well done. Such gorgeous grounds,well kept. The mansion,fun to tour, very interesting history they have a brand new book/gift store if you love flowers checkout their heirloom seeds...
