This place is dated for sure and could use a major update. It is a smoking establishment and for those wanting an adult beverage you can forget it. I had a few minutes one day during my stay and decid... read more »
It's a casino, can be loud and smoke filled, but can also be a great place to go and get lost for awhile. I have stayed at the hotel a few times and found it to be comfortable and quiet, but if you li... read more »
Great place to play the slots. Slot attendents and beverage servers are very nice and friendly. Was disappointed with the long buffet lines especially since it was senior day at the casino. They only ... read more »
The Over priced rooms the Hookers in the parking lots . Got a slip of paper under my door for a free nights stay was then charged for it called about the mistake and was pretty much called a liar by the Hotel manger. I was in town for a family wedding from FL our family had four rooms booked that weekend. Apparently I came just to rip the Hotel Off Don't Stay Here
From bingo to the slots there is always something to do at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs. A fun, albeit smoke filled environment, The casino offers hotel services, a pool, a gift shop, and as diverse array of games as any Vegas casino floor. The free soda machines and the staff that wander ensure that you never go thirsty on the floor and ensure you keep glued to your seat! Most of the machine odds of winning are great and they added a new feature that last never of years indicating what type of a payout pattern you are most likely to expect from certain machines. The restaurants branching off the floor always have delicious food to spend your winnings on as well.

Convenient location, was under remodel or expansion it looks like so I'll have to check it out again when done. . The inside smelled of a building that had been smoked in HEAVY for a long time. . The people I interacted with were very helpful and cheerful. Driving around the area tho I wonder if the Casino is doing enough to give back to the area and community. . I read the schools in the immediate area are not near the national level for reading, science and math and I think that something like the casino could do a lot more for them. . That being said tho I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this casino and would come back for fun or work.
Ate at the Grand Buffet for their Friday Night Seafood special. It was outstanding. The peel and eat shrimp was firm and full of flavor and the crab legs were fresh with a savory sweetness to them. At $25.99 the price was a steal for what we got. Highly recommended.
The rooms are nice. Didn't realize you couldn't bring alcohol to your room and since we were there for a few days for a wedding that was sad. The casino itself was under construction for a bar that they are adding. Pretty smoky on the gaming floor. Staff seemed nice. Beautiful area and lake.
