  • Great new ballpark in downtown Omaha. Very clean and well taken care of. Plenty of free parking around the area, also lots of paid parking. Always crowded for the CWS, but most other games are sparse. Also hosts other events/concerts. Always a good venue.
  • Very roomy and comfortable. Love the cool concourse with the History. Very sterile and corporate though. Great selection of foods. Large and spacious bathrooms.
  • Super nice ballpark. Although it holds a ton of people it doesn't feel like a massive major league park. Concessions are pretty expensive, beers are $8 or $9 each I believe. Good family atmosphere when I've been as well.
  • Terrible experience. Clearly built for maximum revenue and minimal comfort. If you so chose to be a little frugal during the CWS and go with general admission seats be ready for a hike. You may only enter at certain gates that are the exact opposite of all parking and the box office. You'll also be required to present your tickets three separate times and told that your tickets will set off the metal detector wands. All in all Werner Park and Haymarket Park do a much better job on the overall fan experience.
  • Clean restrooms and a good selection of food options (especially during college world series). The booths are fantastic, but any seat is a good seat. The stadium isn't so large that you feel like you're in the nosebleeds. I enjoy myself regardless of my seat.

Where to stay in Omaha

Not surprisingly for a city of its size, Omaha has a diverse range of accommodation options to suit a variety of tastes and budgets. A hotel close to downtown is usually more expensive, but enables guests to experience the best of Omaha's nightlife, shopping, and dining on foot. An apartment rental in one of the city's vibrant residential neighborhoods might be a good choice if you are planning a longer stay in the city. You'll find national chain hotels and motels in many of Omaha's suburbs.
