  • This is a beautiful old cathedral. We just visited when we left Joclyn Castle which is close by. On street parking.  more »

  • Worth a visit to see this architectural marvel of spiritual space. The Spanish Colonial style recalls the old world roots of American spirituality.  more »

  • I first started attending mass after my divorce seven years ago. Honestly I mostly go for the music but I never ever ever ever go to Christmas mass and I bet you'd like to know why. Well I'll tell ya. Too crowded. Is that a crime? Maybe in the law of The Lord but not the law of America. Anyway, yesterday I decided to go to Christmas Eve mass because hey why not give it a shot. I could probably deal with crowd for one night in the name of The Lord. I did refuse communion though because I wasn't about to wait in THAT line just for a freaking cookie. The priest was pretty good, he talked a lot and sometimes I spaced out I'm not gonna lie. But hey that happens. Spacing out is neither a crime of The Lord or America so therefore I have no shame in admitting it. But then things took a turn - as a classical music enthusiast I was absolutely APPALLED by the choice of music. The musicians themselves played just fine, IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT. But whoever chose the jams really has zero to no taste, or my name isn't David Barnes. So in conclusion, I'm still not convinced of this whole Jesus or Mohammed thing, but the church isn't too bad for what it is. But never again will I go to Christmas Eve mass that music was just a bit too much holy cow.
  • The Cathedral was beautifully built with a simple design. The presence of God is felt during mass and is very uplifting. The exterior could use a good round of maintenance. Hopefully the endowment can help improve this. This is a must if you are in the area.
  • Simply the best! Very friendly and Christian people there. Absolutely stunning place! So happy I switched parishes!
  • BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO LOVE AND RELATE WITH JESUS!
  • Too pompous. Need to lighten up.

Where to stay in Omaha

Not surprisingly for a city of its size, Omaha has a diverse range of accommodation options to suit a variety of tastes and budgets. A hotel close to downtown is usually more expensive, but enables guests to experience the best of Omaha's nightlife, shopping, and dining on foot. An apartment rental in one of the city's vibrant residential neighborhoods might be a good choice if you are planning a longer stay in the city. You'll find national chain hotels and motels in many of Omaha's suburbs.
