Where to stay in Omaha

Not surprisingly for a city of its size, Omaha has a diverse range of accommodation options to suit a variety of tastes and budgets. A hotel close to downtown is usually more expensive, but enables guests to experience the best of Omaha's nightlife, shopping, and dining on foot. An apartment rental in one of the city's vibrant residential neighborhoods might be a good choice if you are planning a longer stay in the city. You'll find national chain hotels and motels in many of Omaha's suburbs.

Enormous and far reaching sculptures placed around the epicenter of Omaha, commemorating the settlers on their wagons--with oxen, mules, draft and quarter horses, Canadian Geese set aflight, American Bison and their progeny--sometimes caught in the buildings around the parks.
  • The Statues here were very life like. This is a must see destination for anyone touring Omaha. A great teaching tool to teach about the origins of the city!
  • This place is a must see piece of Art if you are in Omaha, Nebraska.
  • Fun tribute park to the early pioneers.
  • We thought there would be more to do, but it's a only a small field and a few statues
