  • Love to watch people; this is THE place in Oly. Great food vendors with all types of choices. Everything is hand made here, or you can't sell it....so, lots of great local crafts. Hard to beat a trip ...  more »
  • Crafts, fresh vegetables and fruits, flowers, soaps, honey, lavender, fresh meat markets. Listen to live music and have lunch. A great place to visit and support local vendors.
  • This is a real farmer's market, not a city market like Pike Place in Seattle, so you will not see supermarket produce from late October to late April. Over the winter one finds mostly craft vendors, p...  more »

  • I wasn't impressed by some of the vendors, as you could tell their attitudes change with different ethnic groups. My partner is African-American, and many vendors simply ignored her. The food vendors were lined up in a prefabricated building, and I chose seafood. Bad idea! The calamari steak was bland, and undercooked. The crab cakes tasted like celery salt and oil...for $18. Highly disappointed in my first (and last) experience there.
  • I love this Farmer's Market. Johnson's and Stewarts are a must. got the most amazing strawberries in October (!!) at one of the produce stands. Nice evolving selection of artisans. parking can be dicey in the summer, but in fall/spring, it's no problem. Right across the street from Mercado's, too!
  • One of my favorite farmer's markets in the Puget Sound area. There's a little bit of everything here. Veg, meats, flowers, art, food carts, live music...and the atmosphere is completely laid back. It's also right on the Olympia waterfront and walking distance to parks and downtown.
  • Fun atmosphere with live music, clowns and other entertainment, plenty of parking (metered weekdays before 5pm), covered and large aisles in vendor area. Local vendors featuring organic farm produce, meats and dairy products. Locally wild crafted mushrooms. Lots of native plants, bushes and trees. Artists and craftsman's wares. Quiet, beautiful garden to walk through and sit in on the edge of market. Walk-up eateries with ice cream, seafood and ethnic food choices, picnic tables, restrooms, ATMs, no dogs allowed. Great boardwalk closeby to stroll along the waterfront and watch ships in port, wildlife (occasional harbor seals, waterfowl, jelly fish, herons, kingfishers, salmon migration in late august-sept-oct).
  • A great way to spend a morning or afternoon! We drive down here from Tacoma, even though we have many great markets at home, because this place is so wonderful. Great seasonal produce, meats, cheeses, and crafts. There are food and coffee vendors as well, and usually some kind of live entertainment. Most of the market is covered (semi-indoor) including seating areas near the stage and food stands.
