  • Visited the Mima Mounds yesterday. Easy to find, sufficient parking and there's a spot that offers 15 minute parking for those without a Discover Pass. The mounds are interesting (How did they get there?), but it's not mind blowing. It's an okay little stop, with accessible paved trails. Nothing spectacular.
  • It was a great walk. Had a jogging stroller and two kids and we got through it fine!
  • Quick little side stop and walk through some open land and the mounds.
  • A really interesting geological find. Easy to get to and easy, easy to walk. Flowers and wildlife are great. This would be a wonderful spot for an afternoon out with the family. Recommend bringing sunscreen if it is a sunny day.
  • Spent a few hours on the hill a few miles through the park, picked mushrooms, (get licenses). Socialized with hunters. Nice sunrise today.
