  • While the Mima Lumps aren't that exciting to look at, this is a nice open area to get out and have a walk and get a feel for a pacific northwest prairie environment. These mounds stretch over an area ...  more »

  • Nice flat trails, much of it paved, are good for families with strollers or little ones to explore. There's a little interpretive center that explains the history of the area. There is a shooting range near by that can be a bit loud. Go in the spring when the camas lillies are blooming
  • Visited the Mima Mounds yesterday. Easy to find, sufficient parking and there's a spot that offers 15 minute parking for those without a Discover Pass. The mounds are interesting (How did they get there?), but it's not mind blowing. It's an okay little stop, with accessible paved trails. Nothing spectacular.
  • It was a great walk. Had a jogging stroller and two kids and we got through it fine!
  • People polute the area with trash and other garbage.. But it's still am interesting place
  • Simple reserve offers picnic area yet all the parking is limited to 15 minutes only.
