  • One of the best Halloween experiences I have had in my life! It was our first time doing something like this and it will be a must-do in the following years. The haunted walk was extremely scary which I recommend for even the manliest "toughest" of men. The only con would be that it is so popular and lines can get pretty long, however the huge bonfires to keep you warm and the Halloween music definitely makes up for it. Great experience :)
  • This place is definitely worth checking out as long as you have a discount of some sort. Full price, no. The hayride was cute, but not worth seeing. Even though there weren't many scares, we still had a lot of fun, laughing and scaring each other. The concessions were great. We went on a Sunday, but still needed the fast pass, b/c the lines were so long. They had a nice arrangement of fire pits surrounded by benches that were a cozy place to hang out. The 3D zombie house wasn't scary, but the 3D paint was worth checking out, it was really disorienting. The trails were pretty fun, I can see the teeny boppers probably getting really scared. They also had a few houses that were pitch black that you had to work through, and I was laughing the whole time as I ran into the walls. Scary, not really, fun, yes. The actors were about a "C" level, I feel like maybe they had punched or something, b/c they all put very little effort in. If you want to see a haunted house that's put together AND will startle you, I'd check out Paxton Manor, that's the only place that's made me jump.
  • Creative use of cave-like structures with lots of noise. Best for those comfortable squeezing through tight spaces and with good night vision to see steps in the dark. The most exciting part was when a poor girl in our group suffered a panic attack and had to leave. My first time through, I'm not disappointed, but probably won't return for fear of tripping, stumbling, or hitting my head. My companion, on the other hand loved it.
  • My bf and I had a great time. The 3D house was trippy, and both of the trails were fun. The best thing to do is let everyone go ahead of you so that your group can be alone!! Since we didn't have anyone in front or behind us, everything was definitely scarier and we became targets much more often for the actors. We were on each trail for at least 30 minutes. The actors were great and stayed in character; their makeup was awesome, as well. The only attraction I didn't care for was the bf had never been on a haunted hayride before so he enjoyed it, but as someone who's been on a much better one before, this one was really weak and uncreative (might be geared more towards children). But hey, the other 3 attractions were awesome so I didn't mind. Get there at 6-6:30 to beat lines..we had hardly any wait. Make sure to use groupon; it really cut down the cost. Oh. And NO BEER IS SOLD. Thought that was a little strange...but easy to sneak in your own booze.
  • We had a great time at Field of Screams last year! The tour is a good length, it felt as though we got our money's worth. A few ideas / suggestions: Need more way finding/information when you first arrive to the field. It was not abundantly clear which line one needed to wait in, and then what the procedure was when you were inside. More activities outside in the field before your call time would be appreciated - perhaps carnival style games. All together, we had a great time, and are planning on returning this year with more friends!
