  • This park is easy to get to and fun to hike. The rock formations are amazing. It's a reasonable place even if your fitness level is lacking. A good pair of sneakers or walking shoes is all you need. A...  more »

  • Very interesting rock formations. Trails are marked well and are easy to follow. The quartz conglomerate is slippery, even when dry...so be mindful of your shoe choice. This is a beautiful place.
  • Rock City was much cooler than I imagined. This is a great place to get outside and enjoy a fun interesting place on a nice day. I think it is underappreciated and often overlooked but is one of the best places for a day trip in Buffalo, WNY, and NEPA.
  • Humongous rocks, hilly paths. This is another one of PA's gems..but not for anyone who can't walk up and down steps and steep paths. It's Nature at her best.
  • Very scenic area with numerous walking paths to see the big rocks. Be sure to go down the ladder/stairs where the temperature drops 20 degrees as you go down.
  • Fantastic day out for everyone. There are some stunning views and interesting history. Good prices on gifts as well. Bring some water and hiking boots. Toddlers will need to ride in a backpack carrier. The main trail is nice and there are shortcuts if you need to spend less time there. Excellent value for money.
