  • Beautiful grounds, house, gardens forever, vistas, friendly staff. I even had a salad at the cafe, grilled chicken, and was delicious...with walnuts and strawberries and nice owner. Needs better map,o...  more »
  • It's a wonderful way to experience and imagine the life of the wealthy in the good old days! Before income tax. It's a part of the USA's history and that of the Gold Coast.
  • Nice place to visit and learn about NY and Long Island history. The main house is well preserved that gives visitors a real picture of how life was during those times for this family.
  • Rise of the jack o lanterns was cool. A little short though. Not worth the $26 bucks that's full price. But not bad for something that's local. Definitely family friendly .
  • A beautiful old English style estate. The grounds and gardens are gorgeous, and really give a sense of the attention, love and caretaking that have gone into the place over time. The architecture, artwork and landscaping are top notch. Great spot for photographers both hobbyist and pro to spend a day.
  • I have always loved the Gardens and it's now even more special that my sister is getting married there. We go semi-annually to their Dog Days events to walk the dogs through the gardens. We have also enjoyed the annual RISE of the Jack O Lanterns here. It's a beautiful, family friendly atmosphere.
  • We went to the Rise of the Jack O Lanterns and an excellent exhibit of what you can do with pumpkins. Parking was free and well organized and there was an ample amount of staff throughout the exhibit.
  • Beautiful flowers! Lovely grass. All the scenes were great. I visited the Love temple it wasn't newly done but there was a straight view of a part of the mansion. I saw about three people dressed in bride and groom attire on the same day. There are seats for sitting and relaxing in between a walk. I didn't get to tour the mansion, maybe next time I will.
