  • For those who love the funfair this can be good. We have our share of difficulty to walk in crowded places or people are impatient and jostle, after all you're on vacation what can breathe a little?! It is very expensive and, for us the ubiquitous frying smell is unbearable

  • Once you've made up your mind to spend the big bucks on this honky-tonk beachfront amusement park -- just forget the expense and enjoy the experience. My 10 and 12 y-o grandchildren loved it. The ride...  more »
  • The Playland was surprisingly good! They had a ton of rides and games to choose from but I thought that the price was to high! I i can get a season pass to six flags for the same price for one night a...  more »

  • Not what it used to be. Developers continue to degrade the town with ugly, expensive condos. Most of the pinball games are gone, most of the old school video games are gone. The trend is ticketed games that take quarters at an alarming rate and you get a candy bar for 20 dollars... when the rides give way to condos, this area will be done for tourism. Glad PP is still surviving, however. I give them credit. I hope you and your family can make memories here, like I did years ago.
  • For all you people saying that this place is a rundown miserable place, ITS NOT! I've been going there my WHOLE LIFE and all of the rides are well maintained! They even swap out rides to put in new ones! The riptide, that one has only been there for 2 years! And the games, the games are the best! There not "Run-Down"! The beach is AMAZING and you can see the whole beach at the top of the Ferris wheel! Yes, I do recommend Palace Playland as an AMAZING and FUN place for families! And for all of those people that are saying that this place is bad and miserable, don't listen to them, they're just being spoiled brats that can't accept that this place has been around forever! So if you want Six Flags, then go there, but if you want quality family time, Come to Palace Playland! *drops mic and walks off stage*
  • Honestly probably the perfect all season fair/park for all your amusement needs. This little is the ideal place to bring your kids on a weekend and let them just run wild while you and your other half can go for a nice dinner on the pier and finish the night off with a nice stroll on the beach. The rides here are mild and a comfortable range of kiddie to medium-fast. Regarding food you get a good pick of different vendors with hot dogs and fried everything. The Pier offers a good amount of small ocean view restaurants ranging from pricey to simple. The only con I would have to say is the prices of the all day ride passes which will run you at about 30$ or so. Considering the amount of rides its a bit much. So go here on a good day where the sun is out and you will most likely get no lines and be able to leave and enter the playland as you please with no trouble and you have a guaranteed night filled with fun and romance.
  • The beach is BEATIFUL!! And very clean! And the pier/amusement park is good old fashion family fun!! Like a visiting carnival that doesn't leave! Dickinson's candy is a must stop for those that want to treat their "sweet tooth" with quality treats!!
  • Nice spot to play on the main st... but much more expensive compared to other arcades.. Cool to bring your dog though (off season)
