  • Safari Club outing. One of the best golf courses we have ever played this year. Its tight. The greens are hard to read and fast. Its in suburb shape. And the price is right. Its hard to pay attention to your game because the view of the mountains are so very good.
  • Played both courses last week. Both in poor condition. We were informed by the Ranger on the first tee - cart paths only. After we had already paid. He told us they had been cart path only since November of last year and would likely be that way til July. He made a point to mention the GPS. Wow that's great if your playing from the cart path. I should have brought my stand bag and walked it. Aprons around the greens were thin or dirt. I am sure the place can comeback, but right now it is a nice sheep pasture.
  • The course (President's Reserve) is typically in good shape, but that was far from the case on 6/25/17. Bunkers were unraked and had footprints in them. Noticed a broken rake and one of the flagpoles was splintered on the end that goes in the hole. Fiberglass splinters are not fun! Fairways and tee boxes were shaggy and unmowed. No starters or rangers were on the course and pace-of-play was very slow. Beverage cart did not appear until half way through the back nine. Had to wait on almost every hole for the maintenance crew to water the green and hit with a gigantic water hose running across the green. Honestly, the municipal courses in Nashville are in better condition at half the price. Not what I would expect for an $80+ course. Hoping it was just an off day, or maybe the maintenance crew decided not to show up that morning, but pretty unacceptable for an $80+ course in late June not to be in better shape.
  • Best public course in Nashville by far. Presidents is longer and more open, generals is narrower and more of a challenge in my opinion. Never overly backed up like some of the local city courses. Nice range as well.
  • Great courses....best I played since scotland...people were fabulous...can't wait to play it again!!!!!
