  • We played the President's Reserve course on 6/3/17. It is a beautifully maintained course. We decided before we left that we would definitely come back to play again. The next night, my son (12 y/o) d...  more »
  • My husband selected the Presidents Course for us to play on a visit to Nashville. This is a very nicely maintained course & reasonably easy and open to play (compared to our home course). I had a fun ...  more »
  • Love this golf course. I have been playing at Hermitage Golf since it's inception, back when they hosted the LPGA Sara Lee Classic. Great fairways, impeccable greens and very forgiving layout. Highly ...  more »

  • Best public course in Nashville by far. Presidents is longer and more open, generals is narrower and more of a challenge in my opinion. Never overly backed up like some of the local city courses. Nice range as well.
  • Played both courses last week. Both in poor condition. We were informed by the Ranger on the first tee - cart paths only. After we had already paid. He told us they had been cart path only since November of last year and would likely be that way til July. He made a point to mention the GPS. Wow that's great if your playing from the cart path. I should have brought my stand bag and walked it. Aprons around the greens were thin or dirt. I am sure the place can comeback, but right now it is a nice sheep pasture.
  • Great courses....best I played since scotland...people were fabulous...can't wait to play it again!!!!!
  • So look man. If I had to name Hermitage in 2 words, it would be this right here. Bad ass. I tell ya what, I had my tee time set, I pull up in the place with my clubs, and the whole staff treated me like I was the CEO of the place man. The pro shop guys were just fantastic. I went in the shop, and these guys just treated me like I was the President or something. So check this out right here dude. I walk out and I lost my clubs? THEY'RE ALREADY ON MY CART MAN. All I had to do was have fun. The staff was great, the course was smooth as carpet out there. The maintenance guys really work their asses off and I love it. soon as I was done, this Cart Kid was about 6"4, blonde hair and that may have been the nicest guy I've ever met. I will ALWAYS come back to hermitage. I REPEAT, IF YOUR'RE IN TENNESSEE, GO. TO. HERMTAGE GOLF COURSE ASAP.
  • We were on our way back from Florida to Chicago and wanted to play golf. I looked up golf courses in Nashville and the Hermitage appeared to be the best in the area. The gentleman in the pro shop was very accommodating, super friendly, and even got us towels to take a shower. Practice area was very nice. The starter/cart attendants were rude. I walked up and ask them which cart do I take. Told them my name and they told me they didn't have my name. After some back and forth they gave me a cart. I guess loading bags is "self service". We played Greneral Retreat The greens were punched 1 month prior. They healed perfectly. Probably some of the best and most undulating greens I've ever played. I give the greens a 5 star rating. The rest of the course was blah. Every hole appeared similar. I hear the Presidents is supposed to be much nicer. It took us 5 hrs to play (cart paths only and very wet). I don't think Generals is a $64 a round golf course. If your looking for great greens this is a course for you. If your looking for a pristine condition course this is not worth it. Overpriced
