  • Always enjoy a visit to the park and nature center. Great place for all ages, easy to walk trails and plenty of things to do and see.  more »

  • When it's not busy you can see deer and have enough space to jog down the well marked and smooth paths. Not a long trek, do it at least twice if you are actually trying to get some exercise out of you...  more »

  • For being a nature center still in the city it's a pretty walking area. It has layers of exposure to nature. You have the kids area up front. As you go back there is a nice flowing stream with big red rock formations through it and on the banks. There are deer roaming around that are tame enough to get quite close, but still wild enough to be alert of every sound. In the back of the park there is a nice trail that almost feels like the true wilderness I grew up with. The whole place is pretty small, but a nice taste of nature that's a good step above just a city park.
  • Wonderful little gem of OKC. Absolutely delightful, the lot of it. We stumbled upon a little deer family in the woods. It was beautiful. I will attach a photograph below. It may be hard to see them because they blend in with their surroundings. We also encountered a strange creature that can only be described as a leprechaun. We saw him digging up his treasure right at the bottom of the rainbow. He was startled when he saw us, but did not hesitate to offer us shots of fireball whiskey. I will not attach a photograph below because I did not take a picture of him. I found a neat log too. Pics below There is also an abundance of aquatic wild life to see. I highly recommend visiting during golden hours, as it enhances the beauty of the park.
  • We went here to take family pictures and they came out absolutely amazing. There was so many different spots to take beautiful pictures. After that my little ones got to enjoy the playground they have my 3 Year old absolutely loved it.
  • This place has an amazing park for the kids. They are creating a welcoming center, hopefully with working restrooms. I only saw a porter potty on premises. There are many trails to walk and there is a beautiful tiny lake. This place is definitely worth checking out.
  • I love this park, I walk it almost twice a week for lunch. I still haven’t gotten to take it all in. They recently finished construction on the parking area and are working on the park itself. I love seeing the subtle changes without interfering with the theme of the park. Nature. I’ve seen deer, birds, squirrels, turtles, snakes and everything else you’d expect in a large nature reserve in what’s almost now “in the city”.
