Always enjoy a visit to the park and nature center. Great place for all ages, easy to walk trails and plenty of things to do and see.  more »

This park is worth visiting although it is now surrounded by development and there is the constant noise of the freeway. Dogs are not allowed which is good for the wildlife. A variety of trails will a...  more »

When it's not busy you can see deer and have enough space to jog down the well marked and smooth paths. Not a long trek, do it at least twice if you are actually trying to get some exercise out of you...  more »

NO PETS! This place looked lovely, but I just wanted to save others the hassle we encountered. We were looking for a place to stop while traveling with kids and a dog, and we were headed here for a shaded playground and walking trails which sounded awesome only to be sorely disappointed by the "no pets" signs. I completely understand the reasons - I simply wish it had been posted clearly online somewhere, so we hadn't gone out of our way.

Nice park to walk around. Some wildlife roaming around like deer, ducks, turtles, and armadillos. There is a neat creek to see. Small playground for kids. Little indoor displays with snakes and other things. It's not large, but it is nice.

A nature center with walking trails. The main trail is fully wheelchair accessible. Park is part nature sanctuary, no pets, no swimming, no cooking. Can be crowded on the weekends but great during the week. Park must have gotten a great deal on reflective signs, since they have put up a ton of the ugly things everywhere.

Lot of construction going on right now, but the future looks so bright. I came here all the time as a kid and loved exploring the trails and getting a peek at wildlife. As an adult this is really just a lovely place for a quick afternoon walk in a forest preserve just right outside the city. Beautiful natural features and well manicured trails.

Not sure when they decided to not let people play in the small creek. We use to play in that as kids all the time where the small creek has water flowing through. Very lame. No need to go back during the summer because it is to hot just to walk the trails and the kids want to play in water. Seems stupid to have a perfectly good creek that people use to play in all the time and now its not accesible. Probably why no one was there. It use to be packed when we would go and play in the creek as kids.
