  • This is a taste of early Oklahoma rural life. You have to plan on exploring this historic site because the hours of operation are very limited. However, it is a nice little place to visit.  more »

  • Came here for a university function. The grounds are nice, but not amazing. Employees are rude and bust through the crowd without so much as an "excuse me". Both barns a small. Could be nice for a small, rustic event.
  • Old. History OKC.ok.. just looked at the place. David
  • Check this place out if you want to learn about some of the history of Oklahoma. There are several historic buildings on the property and the story behind the house and the people who owned it is pretty interesting. You'll also find the surrey with a fringe on top from "Oklahoma!" in the barn. Their Territorial Christmas event is a lot of fun; my historic dance group has performed there a couple of times.
  • My Best friend and I were just looking around Oklahoma City at all the history when we came across the Harn Homestead online. We decided that we would like to tour this and learn the history. Once we arrived we were greeed with the kindest man who welcomed us on the property. We followed the walkway to the gift shop where were greeted yet again with kindness. The young lady told us she would be giving us the tour and would meet us on the porch of main house. We were instructed to tour the remaining property on our own. This home and the land surrounding it is so full of history. I loved the stories that were shared and how well preserved it is. What an honor to see.
  • Wonderful staff!
