  • When my mom visited, we went over to the Harn Homestead for a tour. All but one of the houses (there are 3 plus a school) is self-guided. There is also a modern barn that is used as a wedding venue.

  • Check this place out if you want to learn about some of the history of Oklahoma. There are several historic buildings on the property and the story behind the house and the people who owned it is pretty interesting. You'll also find the surrey with a fringe on top from "Oklahoma!" in the barn. Their Territorial Christmas event is a lot of fun; my historic dance group has performed there a couple of times.
  • Well kept, nice historical site.
  • We came for a wedding. It is very nice here.
  • My Best friend and I were just looking around Oklahoma City at all the history when we came across the Harn Homestead online. We decided that we would like to tour this and learn the history. Once we arrived we were greeed with the kindest man who welcomed us on the property. We followed the walkway to the gift shop where were greeted yet again with kindness. The young lady told us she would be giving us the tour and would meet us on the porch of main house. We were instructed to tour the remaining property on our own. This home and the land surrounding it is so full of history. I loved the stories that were shared and how well preserved it is. What an honor to see.
