Soule Park Golf Course, Ojai

(3.9/5 based on 30+ reviews on the web)
In 2005, Soule Park Golf Course was completely re-designed by award winning architects Gil Hanse & Jim Wagner. Soule Park is in a spectacular setting with the best mountain views in the Ojai Valley!

Gil & Jim (Designers of Rustic Canyon in Moorpark) took advantage of the many natural features such as the original routing, mature specimen oak trees and creeks. Their focus was to create a course that would be fun and interesting to play for all levels of golfers. The bunkers and greens are varied in size and shape reminiscent of the golden age of Southern California golf course architecture found in the works of George Thomas & Billy Bell.

Traditional Golf Attire Required. No Outside Food & Beverage Permitted.

  • My family went there for breakfast and it was a beautiful view of the gold course and mountains and good solid food... the eggs benedict was delicious and the pork chilli verde was yum!  more »

  • That one star is for YOU, whoever currently runs this place has turned all good will against them. Can't wait until you're gone. You're a freaking horror.
  • Best scenery for Golf Course around. However....don't even think about playing here. The course is and has been in very bad shape during the past two or three years. If you play with decent golf clubs, they will be chipped or scuffed by playing here. The greens are awful, there is no sand in the sand traps, and the fairways are just weeds cut down. The management is pinching pennies and most of the time don't care whether you the person plays, or you, with the money plays. It's a disgrace to Ms. Soule who left this land to the people of Ojai to enjoy, and what this management team has done to ruin this course. It's better to drive where you are appreciated. than to waste your money with this management team.
  • This used to be the best public course within miles, but they redesigned it for the worst. Years ago a really fun experience but no longer.
  • A great place for a quiet breakfast! Thanks!
  • Well groomed for a drought in CA
