  • Cool place for everyone. They have some cool looking sculptural behind the museum. And there are some cool rocks behind it too. You can climb on them. And they have an amazing view of the ocean. Love love Love Love the art. Beautiful place and amazing time here.
  • A hidden gem overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The property is beautiful and serene. The content is quite interesting and changes seasonally. I will return.
  • Wonderful medium size museum. Always some new exhibits. Also a beautiful seaside location.
  • Gardens are beautiful. View from the gardens is awesome. Very interesting to learn about New England artists. Docents are very knowledgeable. A wonderful experience.
  • The sculptures are terrific and the setting is beautiful! It had fewer works of art than I'd anticipated. But I'd visit again to see the sculpture garden.

Where to stay in Ogunquit

Main Street holds the heart of the action in Ogunquit, and most of the town's inns, bed and breakfasts, and hotels sit on this street or close to it. A handful of establishments line Beach Street, which provides access to the town's highly regarded stretch of sand. You'll find additional bed and breakfasts as well as numerous vacation rentals in the form of houses, condominiums, and cottages in the area between Main Street and Israel Head Road on the coast. This area takes you away from the bustle of the center of town but still provides convenient access to Ogunquit Beach to the north and Perkins Cove--a small marina featuring a few restaurants and lobster shacks--to the south.
