We drove 2.5 hrs to get here and it was so worth the drive. Tony was our tour guide and he was amazing. So much to do and see. Great place to bring the family. The mine was wonderfully cool inside on a very hot day. Come early so you have time to explore the mine inside and out! They have a gift shop and a place to get snacks and something to drink.

Went on the two-hour tour here with a large group of people with children. Ages ranged from newborn to toddler and pre-teen. Tour moved along enough to keep the young ones attention. Tons of information and interesting facts, everyone was entertained. Thanks to our tour guide, Tony!! The gift shop had a very large selection and everything was very reasonably priced. Will be coming back again.
The best time I had in a long the tour is the best, museum the best examples of all stones all shapes and sizes.Very good place to take your kids.So happy I went on the tour. It was a great time.I went and collected stones and had a good time doing that also.
An excellent day trip that consists of fascinating facts and an educational 2 hour tour full of awesome items and history. There is a collection of neon glowing rocks which they do sell in their expansive gift shop full of rocks and minerals.
Very awesome. The rocks and minerals are one of a kind. I just went there today. It was the best field trip ever. We got a rock that glows in ultra violent light. I recommend this to everyone that likes geology or that has a rock and mineral collection.
