  • Fun for the kids. Very educational. Cool animals. This is a great to learn about animals and the environment. It has a nice gift shop. My son loves the birds and tortoises. I like the classes they teach. They always have great summer activities. Great place for the whole family..
  • It was bigger than I thought it was going to be. Tho, I think we came at a bad time of year. I'm sure it is way prettier in the spring. Not many animals out right now. Definitely going to be going again tho. It is really cheap, and the animals are cool to see. We didn't go into the education building either. I loved all of the cool stuff in the gift shop, and all of the really unique bird houses on the way in. They have a bunch of events they hold on their Web site, we may check one of those out. Still, it was a nice, easy, pretty trail to walk. It's crazy how peaceful it is being right on 12th Street.
  • I love this place! The little trail going in with all the bird houses is really fun. We always enjoy the trails further in as well. Got a lovely swag made out of fresh greens to hang up for Christmas and some yummy homemade cookies. We also love seeing the birds. The trails are easy enough that my 25 month old son can run along them on his own. We very much enjoy spending time at the nature center. You can bring snacks or a little picnic. The gift shop has some drinks for sale. Lots of cute books, toys and pretty things as well. Great place.
  • We love visiting this place as a family! We have two boys under 4, and the trails are very safe and well kept while maintaining the sense of adventure. The treehouses at the very end of the longest trail are a family favorite.
  • We came to take senior pictures. Some old guy with curly hair started yelling and honking telling us we had to stay on the trail (which we were). He said there was a sign that said "Do Not Enter" which there wasn't. When he was talking about the sign, he was pointing at a handicap sign. It was super funny. Anyways, he was very rude and obviously not very intelligent.
