This experience is good for older kids, probably 7 and up who have enough patience to wair 15-20 minutes at each station before moving onto the next. However, if you have a 2 yr old who gets bored wit... read more »
Great birthday party location. Very hot so bring fans and try to go as early as possible. Friendly staff and animals were great!
Lots of fun for the kids with education about farms includes. Staff knows all the answers and friendly.
Old Mc Miky's farm is a wonderful place for a field trip. We took our special needs camp to the farm and the staff was wonderful and very accommodating to our campers. They helped to guide the campers that were afraid of the animals and helped to make them feel comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend going to this farm as a field trip or a family.

Took my daughter here for her 2nd birthday and it was the absolutely best present for her! The staff member who guided us was super cool and very patient with the children in our group who had never been up close and personal with farm animals before. We had lots of questions in which she answered very knowledgeable. Some of the animals did seem distressed a little and I can imagine with larger groups that it could be overwhelming for them.
We went to Old Mickeys Farm as a school trip. The farm trip entailed the children visiting different stations of farm animals. This trip was most upsetting to me of how I noticed some of the animals where mistreated. The children where able to go into the chicken coup and hold the chickens. Some these chickens where used to children handling them. Many of the chickens where stressed out and where trying to run away from the children. Our group leader told the children they where able to hold them. The children where eager to hold the chickens and some squeezed them hard in attempts to catch the chickens as they where running away. The animal that was most mistreated on the farm was the cow. The kids had an opportunity to milk her. The cow is not able to move its head or body for over four hours. The cows head is in a enclosure so she cannot move it and her legs are tied so she cannot move them. The instructor told our group that the cow is pregnant and for the children to squeeze her gently while milking her. We had a group of young children with us , younger children do not always know their strength. Sickened by the cow restrained and unable to move for along time, I asked the instructor how long is the cow restrained a day? The instructor informed me for about 4 hours until they close at 1pm and then the cow is let loose. He also said that he has seen kids squeeze the cow too hard. My heart dropped, I felt this was so inhumane to force an animal in restraints for this length of time. As our group went to visit other animals, I was unable to enjoy our tour and kept looking at the cow as she continued to be restrained and waiting for the next group to come. During the end of our tour (which was around 1230ish)as we where having lunch I looked over at the cow. I assumed there where no more groups for the day. I watched for over 25 minutes as the cow was alone and no groups came through. No one came to relieve the cow from the restraints to give her a break while there no groups coming through. I asked the staff my concern for the cow and when was the cow going to be let loose? The staff told me at one. I told her it was 1 now. She said yes but we have seven more groups coming through and they where not finished. She said the cow was fine and she checked on her to make sure she had water and food. She also said that she put the cow in restraints for 45 minutes later than usual. I was so upset. Given the opportunity for the cow to be out her restraints for a while , she had no relief. This cow was now going to be in restraints for over 5 hours. A company cannot be all about money and not consider the welfare and happiness of their animals.
Well thank you to the most recent reviewers, especially Michelle. We were on our way there to take my toddler to see the animals, but after reading the reviews about the animal mistreatment and customer negligence, we turned around. Now have to find another outing for my daughter.
I’m absolutely blown away with how badly we were treated today at Old McMicky’s Farm. We spent precious free-time off work driving an hour to this location. We were very much looking forward to spending time with the animals as we are huge farm & animal lovers. After paying $30, A very angry worker named Sandy immediately yelled at us. I instantly felt like running back to our car & leaving. We felt so unwelcome & mistreated. This didn’t stop here... she repeated to yell at us in a very disrespectful way as we were harassed by this woman. I couldn’t believe it! All this place cares about is making $ off big events like weddings & kids parties! The animals are behind fences, you can only pet them by putting your hand through the fence. Complete opposite of how this place looks online. I cannot believe how nasty this woman was towards us. We wasted our day & sadly did not get to experience any enjoyment.
