  • Had a blast. Great price, friendly staff and our guide Eric was awesome. Took my 16-year-old son as a birthday present, both of our first white water experience. We are hooked now. Will definitely be back
  • Fun time whitewater rafting for the total solar eclipse. The people were nice and it was fun. I would like to see curtains on their showers though. Also some obnoxious group partied until 4 am. We didn't know who we could call to complain. It's supposed to be quiet after midnight and this should be more controlled.
  • We rafted, ate dinner at the bus area, watched a decent cover band, camped out. Rafting: Guide, Josh C. was great. Overall the trip was well organized, even with 12 rafts. Burgers were fabulous. Looked like the Mexican place was closed. Stuck around the "bus" area for some reasonably priced craft beer and heard a competent cover band. Campground: Good enough - flat, trees, fire rings, picnic tables, what more do you need? We did not stick around for breakfast at the cafe, but prices looked fair.
  • We went down to visit my in-laws and they bought us this rafting trip. I was quite ambivalent because the last time I went was thirty something years ago in Colorado. I didn't know what to expect or if my kids would get tossed. They are only 12 and 13. I was so nervous. Our guide was Josh Lemon. He was pretty much the head guy over there and we felt safe. As soon as we launched and hit that first rapid, I knew I loved it. I was screaming and laughing. I was trying to just concentrate on staying alive and in the boat. I said to myself if I just listen to this guy then I will stay in the raft. I just prayed my kids were ok but I heard them howling with laughter, so I was happy. Besides, I knew I couldn't save them anyway. It was every man for himself. The guys in the boat did not listen very well to commands, but the women did and we rocked with executing our commands. So our guide trusted us to try a maneuver called "surfing." I didn't want to do it, but I didn't want to ruin the excitement for this other couple that we rafted with. We decided to do it after discussing for ten minutes. We listened to his commands and our raft didn't flip. Josh let us out later on to swim and that was pretty cool swimming down that river. I kept thinking who was going to get me back in? He guided us to a rock that we got on and then backed the raft up. It was just the right amount of excitement with the class 3 and 4's. Not daring enough to do the upper.... Funniest and most fun day in recent memory. The scenery was just beautiful and peaceful. I realize that I live in a state with nothing to offer. The entire family had an absolute blast.
  • Josh C. is the best guide we've had at adventures unlimited. he provided quite a bit of information of historical value of the ocoee and other rivers. very smart, informative and funny guy. would highly recommend requesting Josh C. on your next trip!
