  • Fun little park to run with your dog, enjoy the views of the lake, or have a picnic with your family. They even have a few camping sites! If you do plan on camping here during the weekend be sure to plan ahead and reserve a spot because they do all fill up. There is many well worn trails around the lake and through the marsh. There is a 3 dollar entrance fee cash only so make sure you plan for that!
  • A nice bit of nature in Oceanside. Enjoyed by families, hikers, joggers, and equestrians. Two lakes, nature trails, wildlife and plant life make for pleasant escapes from the city.
  • A great Oasis getaway without leaving town. I sometimes camp here just so that I can still be available to work. It is a great option for busy people who just need some connection with Nature.
  • A small park with limited camping accommodations, and day use. If you wish to enter the park via car, you must pay. Alternatively, park along one of the side streets and walk on in. Many people jog, walk, and bike through the trails that run through the park.
  • This county park offers camping, fishing and general recreation. Playgrounds are available near both day use parking lots. This is a wonderful area for hiking and covers several different habitats based on the elevation and distance to water.
