  • What an amazing find. The museum offers a rare glimpse into a creative mind. It is open and inviting, well kept and enjoyable. The museum focuses on Walter Anderson but also features a few other local artists of note as well as Shearwater pottery. We went with our toddler who was well behaved enough that we didn't have to yell 'Don't touch that every 10 seconds' but that was on a good day, otherwise I think it is appropriate for ages 5+ if they appreciate the murals and art.
  • Fantastic experience, everyone visiting the area should go to it. I immediately purchased his wife's biography of him when I got home.
  • I have visited the Museum over the years, and I am never disappointed. I even visited it back before the house he painted in was attached to the museum in Ocean Springs. Most of Walter Anderson's work is amazing. I never tire of looking at it. I even have a few prints in my home. What an interesting person he was, and a wonderful artist. You'll never regret the time spent at this Museum.
  • Beautiful...great display...
