  • Love the course layout. Each shot requires a fair but precise shot. Not much straying. I like that. I was told that by the beginning of November the greens would be up to snuff speed and playability w...  more »
  • There was a collegiate tournament going on at lions paw so the big cats guys asked me if i would be interested in playing leopard chase instead. Since the Chase is considered a better course than the ...  more »
  • Played this track in October of 2015 and then again this year in September. The greens showed a bit of stress from the summer season but were still in good shape. Fairways were near perfect and dry en...  more »
  • One of my favorite courses. Wonderful layout
  • Even though this is supposed to be the signature course of the four Big Cat courses, I believe Tiger Eye is better. Leopard's Chase is is great shape and one can tell that it is newer. With that said, it requires no imagination whatsoever. A signature course should require the golfer to think. This does course does not. I also found that some areas of the course were not well kept. Eroded rough areas were disguised by newly planted tall grasses (if the grasses were not there, it would have been dead, eroded rough aka see Panther's Run). The greens were nice but slow. Also, it is not worth the drive from the Myrtle Beach area.
  • Great vistas for an inland course. Greens were true and consistent. Loved the layout
  • Very windy and chilly the day we played. Course is hard to begin with and much harder with the wind. Course is very narrow with lots of sand traps and water. If you hit the ball sideways it ran until it found trouble. Greens were large but not very fast. Course conditions good not great. Play was slow likely due to the difficulty. Clubhouse was small and sparse compared to most. Chipping area was a joke. Just mowed rough with a pin. You get no idea of the release from your chipping. Cart lady left at 4 pm with the course still full. I give the course a 6 out of 10 rating.
