Where to stay in Ocean City

Ocean City is one of the country's major vacation resorts, so it's no surprise that room rates fluctuate with the season. Summer commands the highest prices, and most hotels require minimum stays of two or three nights. Make your reservations well in advance if you wish to stay anywhere near the water, especially if you want a room with an ocean view. You can avoid the crowds by renting a waterfront townhouse, but be prepared to pay a bundle even in the off-season.

  • We did not fish off of the pier but the tackle shop appeared to be fully stocked with gear and the staff was very friendly. We were there for quite awhile. It has beautiful views of the beach and boar...  more »
  • We had spent a week fishing the Outer Banks and thought we'd hit up the Oceanic Fishing Pier on our way home. It was much less crowded than any of the spots we had fished previously and that was nice,...  more »

  • I love this gem..in response to the people that disliked it because you didnt catch fish not the pier/employees/owner fault fishing is like that at times even for the pros ..and then you have to question your knowledge .. anyway best fishing in maryland for a small fee in season i believe it is 24HRS well lit at night time i met sooo many great people from all over .. i drive 3hrs from PA just to fish here ..keep up the good work guys see Ya soon !
  • Cold and Windy. They say you can catch things but, all they care about is the money. Don't go in the winter, recommend going out in a boat more luck of catching something. I spent about 5 hours and never caught anything. One of the employees were very rude, more of a older about his 60s to 70s skinny male, had a attitude at my 13 year old grandson. More better in the summer where we caught, 14 fish total. Will go again.
  • A dirty stinky foul smelling place, I love it 😚if you want to catch fish come here!
  • I love this place, my wife and I had a blast. It's hard to get a semi down there. But if you can, they rinse your fishing poles, so you debate, and just let you have fun. My wife had so much fun that night
  • Great place to fish no license needed on the pier
