Inspirock Rating:
4.2/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web
Regularly voted one of the best beaches in the country, Ocean City Beach offers clean sand and a perfect setting for swimming and relaxing by the sea. Ocean City's coastline is almost 13 km (8 mi) long, and it welcomes more than 1 million visitors per year. Lifeguards are present on the major part of the beach in the high season, and some parts remain guarded even during the off-season. Beach-accessible wheelchairs are available, but it's best to make a telephone reservation for these in advance. • A beautiful landscaped beach which stretches for kilometres. I imagine difficult and expensive parking in high season.

  • Only walked on the beach everyday, not a water person. October so just enjoyed the surfers and paddle boarders. Sand was not like LI and there were many shells. But great sunrises and sunsets.
  • Seagulls abound. The water and sunsets are breathtaking. It's just large enough to enjoy it but not too large to be overcome.
