  • Was here for Beach Lax. Several very nice fields. Good paved trails for running and walking. Nice playground. Outdoor gym. Rentals for kayaks and stand up paddle boards. If you're staying nearby it's a great place to exercise or take the kids for something other than the beach and pool.
  • Very nice large park in ocean city Maryland. Lots of space to do quite a bit with a lot of fields and grass. Walking paths, fishing, boating as well as playgrounds are available at this park. We go there during lacrosse tournaments and there are a lot of people there, but there still is plenty of room to do things despite that. There does seem to be a lot of parking available so that shouldn't be a problem when there is no sports tournaments taking over the park.
  • Awesome park with stellar views of the bay. A long pier for crabbing, fishing, or just enjoying the scenery. Numerous fields for soccer, lacrosse, softball, etc. A large paved foot path for jogging or walking with signs posted displaying distances. Lastly, a couple of nice playgrounds for the kids and a few pavilions with grills for cookouts. Parking IS limited but a nice place overall.
  • Nice park. Good sized with outside gym equipment, playground for the little ones as well. Nice walking paths and ballfields. Ponds and pier you can fish and crab off of too.
  • Wonderful park. Fantastic walking paths and the kids love the playground. Great birding. Fishing and crabbing too. Beautiful views.

Where to stay in Ocean City

Ocean City is one of the country's major vacation resorts, so it's no surprise that room rates fluctuate with the season. Summer commands the highest prices, and most hotels require minimum stays of two or three nights. Make your reservations well in advance if you wish to stay anywhere near the water, especially if you want a room with an ocean view. You can avoid the crowds by renting a waterfront townhouse, but be prepared to pay a bundle even in the off-season.
