First time down here as a family. Depended on the website for info. We were only interested in Splash Mountain. The only hours listed showed 2-10. We got there at 2:05. Place was packed! We go up to the entrance, hours showed 10-6,. Prices were different than online. The young lady told us if we wait until 3pm we get a great discount on the fee! What?! Disappointed we found out this way and no, we weren't waiting in 95 degree heat. Update your website with all information. Thank you.
We always have a good time here at the water park. It's a nice place to have a break from the beach and still stay cool. They have a few thrilling rides which are fun. Food stands are overly expensive, but with the wrist band you could leave for lunch and return to the park.
Only rating mini golf: Worst course I've ever played. There was junk all over the greens. Same hole 18 times. Mosquito breeding ground. Super lame!
After the wristbands expire at 6pm, they have a plastic debit-like card you can get, pay to load a certain amount of points and then swipe the card at every ride to get on. You can use one card for all the kids if you like. They will swipe the card for each kid that gets on a ride. The card can be re-loaded with points as needed. This is fine if you only want to do a few rides and leave, but if the kids want to ride many rides, for hours, you may want to get them wristbands and go in the afternoon. The card is good also at the Jolly Roger Pier rides at the boardwalk pier (Not at Trimpers rides on the bayside of the boardwalk.). The points never expire, so save the card. This is a nice splurge for the family.
Only a 1 because I couldn't rate it a zero. My 9 year old son desperately wanted to go on the stealth water slide. We got in line at 5:15 and waited and waited. Closing time is 6 but those of us waiting in line assumed at some point they would close off the lines and let everyone in line slide down. Nope. At 6 everyone who was waiting in line, some for nearly an hour were rudely turned away. Many were upset and my son cried. The attendant laughed at everyone. We walked down and I asked to speak to a manager. She had a half grin on her face as she said sorry, the park closes at 6. I told her we were waiting for 45 minutes before closing time and she repeated herself. I told her about the attendant laughing at people's distress at being turned away after waiting so long. I could tell she didn't care. We paid 90 dollars and in 3 hours only got to ride 3 water slides because lines were so long. Most of the workers can hardly understand English. The place is dirty and not worth what they charge. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
