  • Picked this place above several others for a camping trip. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and able to answer my frequent questions. We picked lot-19 which was tucked away in a corner. The whole place felt close to nature which was exactly what we were looking for. We opted the extra buck for the canoe rental through the spring which was all around a great experience. Good fishing to be had for those looking. The water was clear as day which was great for watching the inhabitants. Over all I would definitely recommend this place for those looking to get away and enjoy some time in the woods.
  • I was born and raised in Florida and frequented Alexander Springs (as well as the other Springs in the area). Although my work has kept me in different parts of the country (and in different countries in the world), I manage to visit when I can. It was, and still is, the best spring in Florida, and, for the most part, unspoiled and affordable for families. To my family and I it's the best kept secret in Florida. My kids LOVE this place and it's very easy to spend the entire day here. Make sure that you bring squirrel-food containers, the varmints WILL get through most everything.
  • Awesome park. Plenty of room to grill, explore the trails and a nice open body of water. Even when the parking lot is full, ample room to swim and not feel crowded!
  • Very nice place to visit, friendly lady at the check in window, wish there was some food availability and more things to buy in the store part and better phone service in case of an emergency our phones did not work at all. But great place to swim and see.
  • Awesome spring lots of fun especially if you have young kids. Took my 3 yr old and he loved it! Only sown fall was the wait to get in. We waited about 2 hours.. and mind you we drove an hour to get there so we weren't leaving. Definitely will go back just plan better next time (:
