  • Be sure to get there early in the morning, during summer hours, as the park fills up quick. Lots of shaded picnic tables and pavilions. Water is clear with an interesting deep area over the spring. Di...  more »
  • What a great spring. The water is crystal clear and pretty shallow for most of the spring area. Practiced my newly acquired diving skills with an easy 22 foot depth dive. Bathrooms were clean. It's a ...  more »
  • If you visit, it's $5.50 per person. If you want to camp, it's $22.00. If you do camp, make sure to bring bug repellent- the mosquito's are hungry. The spring is pretty awesome. Although, there's noth...  more »

  • Picked this place above several others for a camping trip. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and able to answer my frequent questions. We picked lot-19 which was tucked away in a corner. The whole place felt close to nature which was exactly what we were looking for. We opted the extra buck for the canoe rental through the spring which was all around a great experience. Good fishing to be had for those looking. The water was clear as day which was great for watching the inhabitants. Over all I would definitely recommend this place for those looking to get away and enjoy some time in the woods.
  • I highly recommend this park! My family and I camped out for 4 days without power having an amazing time. Campsite 27 has shower and bathrooms readily accessible, large, and secluded from other campers. The spring although about 72 degrees is very refreshing after hiking one of the trails. Do yourself a favor, visit this park!
  • Awesome spring lots of fun especially if you have young kids. Took my 3 yr old and he loved it! Only sown fall was the wait to get in. We waited about 2 hours.. and mind you we drove an hour to get there so we weren't leaving. Definitely will go back just plan better next time (:
  • I was born and raised in Florida and frequented Alexander Springs (as well as the other Springs in the area). Although my work has kept me in different parts of the country (and in different countries in the world), I manage to visit when I can. It was, and still is, the best spring in Florida, and, for the most part, unspoiled and affordable for families. To my family and I it's the best kept secret in Florida. My kids LOVE this place and it's very easy to spend the entire day here. Make sure that you bring squirrel-food containers, the varmints WILL get through most everything.
  • Camped here for 3 days. The spot was great for tent camping, staff were friendly. The spring is very cold as are all springs but it is also beautiful and the kids had a blast.
