  • The formations remind you of a time long long ago. The road was passable in our car. We enjoyed the cows checking us out too. Take lots of pictures.  more »
  • Amazing place. The dirt road was in a perfect condition even though it rained 3 days in a row. Come there to see the sunrise or watch the sunset.
  • Be advised that some driving will be done off-road..We went after it had rained and had a mudding experience getting there..We had a Jeep so we made it fine but if it has been raining and you don't own a 4x4, proceed with caution. I'm sure in the summer it's easier to get to. Such a rewarding experience at the end.
  • Worth the drive, which is a little bumpy just for pictures at this info icon but of landscape. No amenities so make sure you bring a cooler for drinks. Also, there is a great little shop/ museum just before you turn off the highway that is definitely worth checking out!
  • Beautiful place to visit and I'm definitely going back. I love the natural formations.
  • Pretty awesome, pulling up to these giant rocks in the middle of the Kansas Plains. Be prepared for a pretty long drive down dirt roads to get there though. While it's interesting and not typical Kansas, it is quite a detour off i75. Also, while you're free to walk around the rocks, it is private property and no climbing is allowed.
