  • This is where I like to take a drive by myself or with a good friend, to relax look at the view or make good conversation.

  • One of my favorite places to hike. Cannonball trail has some excellent views. Van Slyke Trail is phenomenal. Recommend everyone check it out. There are no bathroom facilities at these trails! Please pack out your trash!
  • One of the best spots for hiking around. It offers a variety of trails for different levels of challenge and intensity. It has some interesting ruins spread throughout in case you are up for that type of exploring. Some really great views of NYC from a distance (has to be a clear day) and of the surroundings valley. Parking is sometimes be an issue at the main entrance so I opt to enter from Skyline Drive. This is also a good place for someone training for a trail run.
  • Great hiking area! hundreds of miles of trails for hiking and biking. Great views and a lot of history. Trails are well marked and good terrain for any level of hiker.
  • Love this park, lots of long trails, and restful lake/pond to sit and medidate. Manor ruins and an ancient water tower are just some of the sites to see.
  • On the Red (Overlook) Trail. Tough hills, nice views. Ruffed Grouse habitat...haven't seen any today.
