We originally went here for the Sweet Potato Casserole Beer which is extremely hard to find back where we live. We were pleasantly surprised by the other beer choices such as a red velvet beer, and by... read more »

These guys are doing it right! If you love food and beer, or maybe food in your beer, these are your guys. They just expanded this brewpub to accommodate large parties, while opening their cafe. A great atmosphere by the tracks, with seating inside and out and various board and yard games. All this is managed by a super awesome staff.
Great Atmosphere... Even Better Beer and Super Friendly Staff. Everytime I've been here, I've had a good time and enjoyed the Delicious Beers on Tap and more recently, the food in the back. Everyone behind the bar is nice but Shane, Talley, Arielle and Amanda are especially great and super knowledgeable about beer. I've brought numerous friends and they've enjoyed their time too. Especially after they beat me in Cornhole or Giant Jenga in the back room. Don't forget to pick up a bomber bottle (22oz) or growler on your way out.
One star for having a cool name. One star for brewing their own beer. But that's about it. Sat on the patio adjacent to the railroad tracks, and waited 15 minutes before I finally went in to request service. After ordering and receiving our first round of drinks and requesting a food menu, we didn't see another server for another 30-45 minutes. Won't be back. And definitely would not recommend this place to anyone that expects excellent service. If you can excuse subpar service, then this place is for you!
Beer is good. However it could be a few degrees colder specially in this hot SF weather. They dont take American Express for anything so have your cash visa or MC ready instead. For us Amex users trying different SF breweries this one is a one time visit.
A really neat building with good parking and a very tropical feeling. They have unique beers, like a PB&J flavor, but the selection for the non-alcoholic crowd is very limited to fountain sodas. It would be great if they added local soda companies!
