  • Heard about this pace on the Southern Weekend blog and Roku channel. Very worth the trip. Freshly ground grains, nice shop. Staff is more than willing to discuss the history and methods of the mill, and how they acquire the grains. You'll find Kamut flour here, ask about it.
  • I am glad to see the mill still going strong my father owned the mill from 1954 till 1976...he restored the mill. keep up the good work. James Bailes
  • I Loved this place as a child. Leo ran it, and had the best BBQ. We would stock freezer, and was a treat. Leo's sister Juanita, was my grandmother ( Juanita Skinner's) best friend. I loved going there. It was just so peaceful with the waterfall, mill, and best of all. The swinging wood bride that overlooked the waterfall, and river:) #childhoodmemories:)
  • I live in California and watch "A Chef's Life" and saw this on there show. My family is originally from the Carolinas and I told my Grandma I ordered her some of the grits and she was so excited. I called with a question and the person I spoke to was so pleasant. Will defiantly order again.
  • Been there. Folks are very friendly and explain the workings of the mill, also the history..You can watch the mill at work. There is also a small waterfall across the street that feeds water to the mill for the adventurous...Lots of tasty and unique items made there for sale...
