  • Easy remote (UK) booking gave us lots of information of the tour (although it lacked details of the best route from downtown Chicago). The set up was explained once we were there and our volunteer tou...  more »

  • I only knew tidbits about Wright before this tour but came away with a lot more afterwards. Great tour, plenty of time in each room for questions and photos. Well done and easy to recommend.  more »

  • Great place! Very informative tour and a great connection to history. I really felt a connection to this interesting historical figure. The house was so very interesting and his studio was beautifully constructed. I would recommend a tour the next time you are in the area.
  • I'm not really a FLW fanatic, but the tour was very interesting and it was worth the train ride from the city. The tour offered a nice peek into the thought process of this world renown architect. Some of the designs are truly amazing. At the end of the tour another guest asked about Wright's private life and the tour guide briefly mentioned some of the details of his marriages and divorce which were also interesting. My wife is now reading a book by Nancy Horan based on Frank Lloyd Wright's life called "Loving Frank". Also, before or after the tour, walk around the neighborhood and check out several other home Frank Lloyd Wright designed.
  • Great way to see the genius of FLW. The whole neighborhood has architectural gems of his design hidden on every street. Great place to tour. Frank has a bike tour that is very informative and fun.
  • Not to be missed by F L Wright fans and architecture buffs. The neighborhood of Oak Park also contains numerous examples of beautifully restored private homes by Wright that can be viewed while strolling the charming neighborhood. The shopping area offers many unique restaurants and shops.
  • How can one rate and review Frank Lloyd Wright? Just about every building he touched turned to gold, so of course his home and museum is an essential for any architecture buff. If you haven't visited yet, it's time for the pilgrimage.
