  • While this is a great attraction (and would otherwise rate 5 stars), it is not open any regular hours to climb. So people who come are often disappointed they can't get access to the inside of it, but...  more »
  • Not open to the public, and parking is limited, but historically interesting and curious. One of the last light houses built on the coast.

  • I have climbed to the top twice now. It was a really fun thing to do. Not a spiral staircase...ship ladder-style steps, a landing after each set of steps. The views from the top ate awesome. Both times, the volunteers were so friendly and gracious!!
  • This is a must stop visit if you are in the area you can take great pictures have immediate access to the beach
  • who built it because i need to know for a written portion
  • this light house is the best i love it
  • The lighthouse is amazing, and very well taken care of. The parking is pretty easy, and it's across from a public access beach. The owners are wonderful and know everything about the lighthouse you could want to know. They do a great job. If you just want to go inside and see the first floor area you can, but if you want to go all the way to the top you need to schedule a tour. We only went on the first floor area, but they give you a nice tour and give you all the information you want. Plus there is a small window on the first floor area you can see out. This one also has ship ladders in it, not a staircase which was interesting. I highly recommend this lighthouse. Very informational.
