  • I will always love City Beach, yes, City Beach, because it has been a place of many fond memories since childhood. There is a nice paved walking path, and many picnic tables for lunches or get together in warmer weather. However, for many years there has been a sewage drainage pipe that dumps right into the water! Nasty! Which is one reason to never swim in the lagoon there. Frequently you are greeted with sewage smells at this beach, which has always been frustrating and disheartening. Couple that with the fact that they are building a sewage treatment plant right behind it.... I don't know how much longer anyone will visit the beach or make memories there.
  • Love it here. Wife loves it here. Kids love it here. Top five of my favorite parks ever, anywhere
  • It's a nice place to take a walk on the water. Lots of parking and a kids play area.
  • Love the view. And you can watch the boats come in and go out
  • i like to come here and walk when i can, as i have a hard time walking the paved path is very nice. the view is great from day to day, weather changes and differences in the clouds makes it the same yet different. if you are into pokemon go, the place has a bunch of poke stops along the path, and some spawn points as well, most of the spawn points follow the water and the main parking lot. on the pokemon go note, be warned this park closes at 10pm and the police will kick people out, and i have heard of them writing trespassing tickets as well. my sister had her wedding in the gazebo that is located in the park, back in august, with the reception in the building closest to it. the ease of renting the facility and such was nice, and lead for some beautiful pictures as well. on a sad note, they have had the other half of the RV park torn up for what feels like ages now, redoing the sewage treatment or something like that. that construction is well what it is construction. oh and lastly watch for the flying rodents (seagulls) they will steal any food you have about, and also like to use human as targets for their poo bombs!
