  • Love this park. This is a great place to go for a hike on a beach or on a trail. There are places to sit, have a good picnic, watch the Sun go down or just enjoy a great park.  more »
  • A big plus is there is a restroom. There is access to the beach, but we take the trails through the woods and open field. Black berry are available to pick in August.  more »
  • I absolutely love this island and this little tucked away park. I bring my kids here, my dog here and even just solo. Great place to unwind and think.  more »

  • This is a nice little State Park that borders on the west by Puget Sound. A nice place for a walk on the beach or with your pet.
  • This park is not well known and generally is uncrowded. If you want a beach without mobs in the summer, this is the park for you. Trails can be muddy in rainy season but the plants and wildlife are well worth a bit of mud and the worst spots can be easily worked around. This is one of my best secret dragonfly photography destinations.
  • I've been coming here since I was a kid. You can walk along the beach for what seems like miles, combing through the sand and rocks as the waves break at your feet. When the tide goes out, the vast sand flats are exposed. Hot summer days are great for a picnic and swimming, while the windy fall/winter months are great for storm watching.
  • Great trails for kids and pets, woods, fields and beach areas. Quiet and easy to get to. 3 accesses, only one closes for winter.
  • This is one of my refuges where I go to meditate and balance myself. Great barbecue areas through out the trails and wonderful views of the Cascades to the south, Anacortes and other islands to the north and west. Wonderfully quiet and peaceful at night.
