  • If you want picnic tables and an open beach this will appeal to you. Aside from a few trails there is very little to do except look at the scenery.
  • This park has it all. Beach, trails, views, and a place to picnic. Tables and grills are free to use. No playground equipment but tons of entertainment on the beach and hiking trails. Great park to vi...  more »
  • The beach itself is quite stony, but the zone between the driftwood and the tidal marshlands is very easy to walk on. Great bird watching.

  • This is one of my refuges where I go to meditate and balance myself. Great barbecue areas through out the trails and wonderful views of the Cascades to the south, Anacortes and other islands to the north and west. Wonderfully quiet and peaceful at night.
  • This park is great to watch sunsets, walk the beach or trail, see Eagles soar above. My favorite quite place to go in the evening.
  • Beautiful scenery .... great trails .... not too crowded. A must see!
  • This park is not well known and generally is uncrowded. If you want a beach without mobs in the summer, this is the park for you. Trails can be muddy in rainy season but the plants and wildlife are well worth a bit of mud and the worst spots can be easily worked around..
  • A lovely spot with lovely views for a lovely lunch.
