See endangered bird species flying among large banyan trees as you walk down to the waterfall and swimming hole at Waimea Falls Park. To swim in the waters surrounding the waterfalls, you must wear a life jacket provided by one of the attendants. The park provides transportation to the waterfall for visitors with mobility issues. Purchase the audio tour if you want to learn more about the park on your walk. Take one of the shorter nature walks that run alongside the main path, and be sure to visit the peacocks in the flower garden. The park does not permit pets other than service dogs.
