Inspirock Rating:
4.9/5 based on 190+ reviews on the web
Climb to the easternmost point of the island of Oahu to enjoy the spectacular views from Makapuu Point. This rocky peak serves as the finish line for many hiking trails and is home to Makapu'u Point Light, a 1909 lighthouse boasting one of the world's largest Fresnel lenses. The perch offers panoramic vistas of the bays on either side, where the waves crash against the rocky cliffs. The rough waves below make for great surfing conditions; alternatively, look out for whales in the surrounding waters. Be aware that the hike out to the point is difficult, and for experienced hikers only. While panting would be mannered of people come down with dogs and climb the mountain walk from the parking lot, and people are running, people pushing baby strollers, and go where I wanted. It is helpful that I was saying it is also windy, rain was flip through everything, but in the climb, Nuke. And we mention when I climbed up to the top over the sea spread in front of the saw very beautiful scenery. Good luck ~ ~. Climbing from 10-15 minutes? I took a drink, so nothing was better. It was right because I had prepared the water just in case. We are early in the morning to go. Kitsui climbing slowly but good luck, hope to climb out.
