  • Very historic and modern day functional, nice setting, beautiful restored buildings, highly recommended  more »
  • Great volunteers maintaining the history of Hamilton Air Force base. A great place to hold meetings. Fine souvenirs available.  more »
  • People working (maybe volunteers) were very nice to talk too and were very knowledgeable. Not a big place but quite interesting if you like aviation history.
  • The Hamilton AFB museum was outstanding. Very historical base back in the haydays of. WWII through Vietnam, if you like local history watch the thirty minute video about the base. If you know AFI 36-2903, you will go crazy when you see the uniforms on display (I am going to go back and adjust the displays on my next trip to the Bay Area). Overall, this is a great way to learn about the history of the area.
