  • This is a very open and friendly farm. You can go in the barn and pat the cows and other animals. The scenery is beautiful out back and you feel like you are out in the country and not 30 min from Bos...  more »
  • Set back a little on a quiet road this is a pleasant setting to enjoy a cone while walking around the well kept grounds. Young calves are often found in the old barn.
  • Lovely spot, looks like a post card, dairy store is pristine and makes you want to sample everything. You cannot or should not miss getting an ice cream it is delicious!! They also offer tours

  • Hornstra farms has created a unique combination of fantastic products (milk, chocolate milk, ice cream, etc) and an atmosphere of great service and access to farm life. Drop by for the ice cream and go and visit the cows. Lot's of things to see and experience.
  • Ice cream is one of the best ever and the milk is also good. But again, the lines take forever and parking is UNBELIEVABLE. But still food. Good eating.
  • The South Shore is very lucky to have this wonderful gem. The walk-in store has so much more than just dairy products (produce, bread, frozen CC cafe pizzas, etc). Chocolate milk is amazing (plus addictive) and the take home ice cream cookie sandwiches are the best I've ever had!
  • Cool place to take the kids and witness a working dairy farm. They do tours by appointment but you can see the cows, calves and milking process through the windows and the pasture. They operate a store selling baked goods and their homegrown dairy products. The ice cream parlor is the best way to cap off your visit during the summer.
  • Great dairy products. Love the blueberry ice cream!
