Winslow Farm Animal Awareness is a non-profit charitable organization devoted to the rescue and care of abandoned and mistreated animals. Established in 1996, Winslow Farm exists for one purpose: to provide love and care to the many animals without a home or for those that have been abused and/or neglected by their previous owners. A sanctuary where animals can learn to trust humans once again. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Norton holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.
In the fall of 1997, Winslow Farm opened it's doors to the public as a petting farm, offering the public an opportunity to meet and interact with the 183 animals that live on the farm. In addition to an animal sanctuary, Winslow Farm offers a variety of animal-oriented activities including birthday parties for children, pony rides, group educational tours, nature hikes and trails, as well as special events occurring during the holiday seasons. These activities serve to educate the public about neglected, abused, and abandoned animals, general animal care, and allows animals the exposure to a population of "good" humans that these animals can learn to trust.
Winslow Farm offers a tranquil setting, either by the campfire or by the Meadow Brook Pond for reflecting, writing, meditating and enjoying nature, in addition to the opportunity to visit and interact with the over 200 animals at Winslow Farm.

It's a great family friendly place! My boyfriend and I went there the other day and it was honestly better than expected. Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The admission is slightly steep($10 for adults, $5 for children over two) and is cash only, but it's going to a good cause. The animals are very friendly and well taken care of. What's great about this place is you can actually go in with most of the animals pet them. All in all is was a great little day trip and we will be returning with our sons( age 2 and 3). I would definitely recommend this place for anyone with kids or even without!
We went here on a Saturday with my 5 and 3 year old children. It was a wonderful day. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed; almost soothing. We spent time seeing all the animals, playing on the playground structure. We even roasted marshmallows around the fire pit. A real treasure to have near by.
Winslow is the home to over 200 animals, all with different backstories. Most of them are your standard farm animals (horses, pigs, chickens, cats), with a few oddities - notably the alpaca groups. The farm covers a good area, with many sections able to be walked through. Most animals are friendly, if a bit shy. It's a cool place to visit with family, although I would not recommend going with any children if they may do something to startle the animals - many of them were neglected at some point, so they can be skittish.
Sheeps, donkeys, goats, cats. You can pet them. Great for kids and adults too :)
My experience with Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary was horrific. I had adopted 2 baby pot belly pigs from another farm and realized I couldn't provide the care they needed. I attempted to return the pigs to the owner after only 5 days and was told they could not take them back. Out of desperation, I took them to Winslow Farm, as I was told they were very compassionate and took in all kinds of animals. I wanted these little piglets to have the best possible care that I unfortunately could not give them. After explaining my situation to the owner, the response from her was totally not what I expected. She was rude and condescending and refused to take my piglets, stating she had no room for them. She couldn't have cared less about their welfare. I did find a nice farm willing to take the piglets in, no thanks to Winslow Farm. I will not go back there for any reason whatsoever !!!!
