  • Very impressed and mesmerized with the park and how friendly everyone was. So many areas to see, hike, bike, swim. My kind of vacation! Definitely worth a return trip!

  • An excellent way to appreciate nature and all off the joy that the outdoors can provide. World-class hiking, skiing, fishing, and more await you in the Adks.
  • Great place to have a meaningful interaction with nature.
  • A slice of God's country just a couple hours drive from the devil's town; i speak from experience; i livd in NYC 30 excruciating yrs; my only relief was the 2 weeks we'd spend in the Adirondacks! The colors of autumn are great, but they're unpredictable... unless you already have the car & suitcases packed. The colors depend on a healthy amount of water; w/ our climate changing {NOTICE I DID NOT SAY GLOBAL WARMING!} you'll likely get a week's advance notice from the weather forecaster. Have cameras at the ready; look for 'vista points' to safely pull off the road.
  • A great place to go camping and get away from it all.
  • Nice lake Beautiful scenery
