  • My group had a really positive experience here. We had a total of 10 people, 5 of which are wheelchair users. I rented out the entire Pipe Works room and we split into two teams and played cooperatively. The staff was really helpful and they were willing to help with anything given our unique dynamics. There is accessible parking and bathrooms as well. It’s kind of hard to see the place since it’s not in a building you’d expect it to be in and there’s no signage on the road that we saw. I’d recommend this place for any group of folks looking for a fun time! And yes, we did escape the room!
  • One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever witnessed. I am a huge fan of escape rooms, have played here multiple times in the past and actually had a pleasant time, however, more recently I've played their newest game: The Path. This game is definitely not up to par with newer escape rooms, it is basically a giant Jigsaw puzzle, 100% in sequential order, with no opportunity to follow a different "path." Denver's "Most Advanced Room" only uses electromagnetic locks, over and over and over. I saw another one star review because of this game, and shortly after a member of Denver Escape Room's team openly attacked this person publicly on a Escape Room Enthusiast Forum. Yes, someone who paid to come in and play, had a bad time, was then yelled at on social media for everyone to see, by a member of their staff. This is not acceptable behavior for a business to treat people who hand them their hard earned money. This is a competitive industry, and true businesses who value it and their customers should be supported over those who don't care at all.
  • Had a blast with my group of friends! Signed up to do pipe works and ended up staying to try grim stacks. The six of us all had a really great time and both rooms were challenging in their own ways. Grim stacks was definitely harder than pipe works and we didn’t use any hints for pipe works but received two hints for grim stacks. We solved both with about 13 min to spare in each. The gentleman working were friendly and helpful and dealt with my group who were possibly a wee bit tipsy. Their WiFi was down so transactions took some time which slowed everything down but they were friendly and patient with their system. You receive a colored bracelet for each room you compete in which is cool as a keepsake. The location is a little difficult to find but if that’s my only complaint than they are doing something right. Would definitely recommend!
  • I love puzzles and I've been wanting to try an escape rooms since the first time I heard about them. My three kids (21, 18, 16) and I tried the Grim Stacks because it had a very 'magical' theme to it. Grim Stacks was one of their more difficult rooms and took us the entire hour to finish it. The room was very detailed and well done. The four of us had a great time and we are already planning the next one.
  • Denver Escape is an absolute blast! We've been 2 times now (averaging once per month) We've done Pipeworks and Grim Stacks... The Path is next later this month! The employees are super nice, explain everything...even the silly little things of "don't lick the light bulbs" [sadly people do that] :-/ Anyway, I would recommend anyone to come visit Denver Escape! We've always had a good time, get a nice little souvenir bracelet each time with the room you're attempting to beat...and they even sell shirts/games... go play!
