  • Always worth a visit it is one of our favorite places in the area. Be sure to visit Thuya while in the area.

  • Gorgeously designed and maintained gardens evoke calmness and tranquility. Worth far more than the suggested $5 donation.
  • Wonderful Japanese style gardens. A photographers paradise.
  • Absolutely beautiful garden. As soon as you step in it feels like you've been transported to another country.
  • This location is perhaps my favorite retreat on the East Coast. Unlike most other refreshing gardens, the Asticou Azalea Garden is a Japanese style garden. As my Life Coach taught me, Asian gardens of this sort can either be very relaxing or quite evocative for the imagination. I have now found that to be quite true. There is another Japanese style garden I enjoy north of NYC in North Salem, but it doesn't have the floral variety, breathtaking mountain backdrops, and nearby ocean vista that I enjoy.
  • So peaceful and beautiful!!!
